It all begins with the ambience of the studio—from the beautiful paint colors to the miniature chandelier, from the native flute and harp music to the attractive and orderly presentation of the materials—encourages children, moms, dads, and caretakers to immediately feel relaxed, inspired, and appreciated. The décor and materials presented change with the seasons.

Rather than play with toys, the children eagerly seek out innovative treasures and “loose parts” to investigate, transform, invent and re-invent their world. The colorful silks floating on stone hooks, the hundreds of green jewels in a soft blue basket, the shiny flaxseeds with porcelain scoops, the basin of scented water with floating rose petals, the rosemary scented dough, the turtles, driftwood and river rocks in a tray of smooth lentils, the hundreds of maple building blocks, all encourage children to experience the pure joy of play.

Warm scented wash clothes for hands and face and miniature porcelain tea cups filled with spring water are offered to children as we bid them good bye until next time.
